Note: This is a temporary position as a Maternity Cover for one of the employees. Job Summary You will be responsible for assisting the accountant and Senior accountant in all activities related to Accounts Payable and Payroll. As a key member of the accounts team, you will be responsible to ensure all payments and payroll data is complete, accurate, and verified before each payroll run and in all accounting reconciliations.Job Objectives Accurate and timely recording and bookkeeping of financialtransactions Accurate and timely processing ofpayments Issue employee payments, considering deductions andwithholdings. Prepare payroll schedules and records and contribute to various accountingtasks Job Responsibilities Accounting Activities Perform bank and related activities including BRS andbookkeeping Perform Month end activities and reconciliation ofpayments Assist Accountants on ad-hoctasks Managing vendors both externally andinternally Ensuring all local and foreign currency payments are sent accurately and ontime Ensure financial management system is updated for all paymentsmade Processing manualpayments Generate and reconcile weekly vendor payment runs and perform specific qualitychecks Payroll Activities Verify and Process payroll for contractors of Recruitmententity Collating work records andtimesheets Validatingovertime Resolving payroll discrepancies andissues Answering payroll-relatedqueries Collaborate with the HR payrollteam Job Requirements Educational Qualification Graduation in Finance/Accounts or related fields ismandatory. Candidate should be able to demonstrate commitment to continued learning in the field ofaccounts. Previous Work Experience Finance professional with 2-3 years’ experiencerange. Very good communication skills in English. Knowledge of all relevant overtime, leave, and benefitsregulations Skills and Abilities High level of accountingskills. Excellent communication and Analyticalskills.Ability to perform accountingactivities.
