Job Summary We are seeking an experienced ITSM Consultant with deep expertise in Capacity Management to lead and optimize capacity planning, monitoring, and forecasting processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure that current and future capacity needs are effectively met while supporting overall IT Service Management (ITSM) initiatives.Key Responsibilities Assess existing capacity management processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.Develop, maintain, and regularly update a comprehensive Capacity Plan aligned with both IT infrastructure and evolving business demands.Analyze business and IT resource consumption trends and forecast future capacity requirements.Evaluate and contribute to the definition and refinement of Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) from a capacity perspective.Continuously monitor utilization of services and configuration items (CIs) to ensure adequate capacity is available to meet service performance targets.Define, configure, and test capacity-related thresholds and alerts to proactively manage system performance.Maintain and revise predefined tasks associated with capacity-related change management.Review capacity-related incidents and collaborate with the Problem Management function to identify and implement permanent solutions.Generate regular reports and present insights on capacity trends and process effectiveness to senior leadership.Conduct system tuning activities to maximize the efficiency of current IT resource usage.Ensure consistent application and execution of the Capacity Management process across the organization.Provide support to other ITSM processes as needed, contributing to cross-functional service improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.ITIL certifications: ITIL v3 Foundation ITIL v3 Practitioner ITIL v3 Intermediate ITIL v4 Foundation Professional Skills And Experience Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Capacity Management.Proficient in using ITSM platforms such as BMC Remedy and BMC Helix.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Proven background in quality assurance and quality control within ITSM.Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Visio, and Power Point for documentation and presentation purposes.Skills: capacity management,itsm,bmc helix,it,quality control,management,bmc remedy,ms visio,itil,powerpoint,problem-solving,quality assurance,analytical skills,microsoft office suite #J-18808-Ljbffr
