Site Architect, Dubai based (Immediate requirement)

We have an opportunity for a Site Architect with a drive to provide support and technical delivery in our Project Management team.We have a wide variety of projects to get involved with and a close-knit supportive team to help you succeed for us and for our clients!Key roles and responsibilities: Lead the coordination process with other disciplines.Assist the Resident Engineer in performing contractual duties on site.Process contract documents & assist in contract administration.Develop, modify, and review production drawings and construction documents.Correct and update design documents.Serve as an architectural resource for the Design department.Provide resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s); coordinate application of solutions to ensure progress on site.Advise the project manager of any technical aspects of the architectural works that may affect construction progress, quality, etc.Monitor interior architectural works for conformance with contract documents and procedures.Review and process all shop drawings and architectural technical submittals.Respond to RFIs related to interior and architectural works.Review construction submittals from project inception to closeout, including contractor installation methods, shop drawings, material proposals, and subcontractor proposals.Technical skills and experience required: Degree in Architecture or related field.Minimum of 8-10 years postgraduate experience and at least 5 years on large projects.Strong technical knowledge with the ability to resolve design issues on site.Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up or 3D Max, Photoshop, MS Project or Primavera, Power Point, and MS Office.Good knowledge of building codes.Authority registration is preferred.UAE Driving License.Our commitment to you We support your needs by providing tools to do your best work, recognizing achievements, encouraging collaboration, and investing in new ideas.Who we are GHD is a global professional services company established in 1928, with over 14,000 employees across more than 200 offices worldwide.
