Role Summary

We are hiring a seasoned IBM Data Stage Developer to design, build, and optimize ETL workflows for large-scale data integration projects. The candidate should have deep technical knowledge of Data Stage parallel jobs, performance tuning, and enterprise data models.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL jobs using IBM Data Stage (parallel and server jobs)

Participate in requirement analysis, data mapping, and solution design

Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability

Troubleshoot ETL failures, performance issues, and data discrepancies

Develop reusable components and frameworks to streamline ETL processes

Collaborate with business analysts, DBAs, and other development teams

Support production ETL processes and on‑call rotations

Document ETL designs, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

7–8 years of Data Stage development experience.

Strong hands‑on experience with PX (Parallel Extender).

Excellent SQL skills (Oracle, DB2, Teradata, etc.).

Solid understanding of ETL best practices and data warehousing concepts.

Experience in performance tuning and debugging parallel jobs.

Exposure to Linux/Unix scripting and scheduling tools.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
