Responsibilities include releasing group rooms back into general inventory, ensuring clean booking windows, recommending pricing strategies for cluster properties, and overseeing inventory management systems to verify the appropriateness of selling strategies.Candidate Profile Education and Experience2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in revenue management, sales, marketing, or related area.OR4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the same fields; 1 year experience in revenue management, sales, marketing, or related area.Core Work Activities Analyzing and Reporting Revenue Management Data Compile, analyze, and monitor sales data against projections.Identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts by breaking down information.Evaluate results to determine best solutions and problem-solving strategies.Use computer systems to process data and generate reports.Conduct sales strategy analysis to increase market share.Maintain accurate reservation system information.Analyze data to identify trends and obstacles to achieving goals.Generate updates on transient segments periodically.Assist with account diagnostics and validate conclusions.Executing Revenue Management Projects and Strategy Update market knowledge and align strategies accordingly.Achieve and exceed performance, budget, and team goals.Participate in planning meetings and coordinate activities.Establish long-term objectives and strategies.Drive the execution of predetermined strategies.Demonstrate knowledge of relevant issues, products, and systems.Understand and meet stakeholder needs.Explore opportunities to improve profit, create value, and encourage innovation.Provide revenue management expertise to leadership teams.Ensure hotel strategies conform to brand philosophies and initiatives.Communicate and adjust sales strategies based on market conditions.Prepare sales strategy documentation and communicate rate restrictions.Manage room inventory to maximize revenue.Assist with pricing strategies and business evaluations.Coordinate strategies with group sales offices and reservation centers.Use demand forecasting systems to control selling strategies.Check distribution channels for accuracy and positioning.Use diagnostic processes to maximize revenue and profits.Implement and evaluate revenue tests.Recommend improvements to revenue management processes.Communicate brand initiatives and market analysis to stakeholders.Promote and protect brand equity.Building Successful Relationships Develop and manage internal stakeholder relationships proactively.Act as liaison between property and support systems when necessary.Additional Responsibilities Update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information promptly.Attend staff, forecast, and long-range planning meetings as requested.#J-18808-Ljbffr
