About The Role As an “OJT Instructor B1”, you will conduct EASA/QCAR Part 147 practical training, assessments, and perform duties as trainer, mentor, and assessor for the OJT programme on aircraft types operated by Qatar Airways and customers. Develop, review, and update practical training/OJT syllabuses in accordance with applicable regulations. Responsibilities Include: Develop, review, and update practical training record books to ensure maintenance staff acquire necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Carry out practical training and assessments in aircraft environments to standards specified in MTOE. Develop and present proposals for practical training course plans to improve quality and maintain technical accuracy. Prepare assessment forms for practical type training, supervise assessment processes, and ensure safety and proper documentation. Conduct OJT programs according to the requirements approved by National Aviation Authorities to ensure trainees acquire required competencies before aircraft type endorsement. Maintain validity of Maintenance Engineer and Practical Assessor Authorizations. About You Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, ICAO/QCAA/EASA License, and at least 2 Aircraft types Authorizations on Qatar Airways' fleet. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. EASA Part 147 Certificate of Recognition for relevant type training. Knowledge of regulatory requirements (QCAR/EASA Part 145/147/66). Practical and technical knowledge, including management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. English language proficiency at minimum B1 level (CEFR).
