Job Summary : We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lawyer who is fluent in both English and Arabic to join our legal team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification legal experience within Qatar, with strong knowledge of local laws, legal procedures, and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities : - Provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to corporate, commercial, real estate, labor, and regulatory issues. - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents in both English and Arabic. - Represent the Firm or clients before courts, arbitration panels, and government authorities when required. - Ensure compliance with Qatari laws and regulations, particularly in relation to business operations, employment, and contracts. - Liaise with government entities. - Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions or memoranda. - Support internal departments with legal guidance on day-to-day operations and strategic projects. - Stay updated on changes in Qatari legislation and advise management accordingly.Requirements : - Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; Master’s degree or further legal qualifications are a plus. - Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification legal experience in Qatar. - Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken). - Licensed to practice law in Qatar or eligible for legal practice. - Strong knowledge of Qatari legal system and business environment. - Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications : - Experience working in a multinational environment or law firm. - Familiarity with sectors such as construction, energy, finance, or technology.
