Aircraft Mechanic (Workshops) - Welding Shop About The Role We are recruiting for an Aircraft Mechanic– Workshop Mechanic based in Doha, Qatar. The Workshop Mechanic will be responsible for performing all required work in accordance with approved technical data, QR standards, and procedures. They must meet the highest shop practices and safety standards to achieve operational results as set by the unit. The role involves completing assigned tasks within procedural frameworks and timeframes, demonstrating high technical competency and efficiency under time constraints. Operational Responsibilities Complete assigned tasks to ensure satisfactory service to customers. Operate equipment or tooling related to the work area to meet time objectives. Interpret information across various activities to maintain continuous operation, working independently under normal conditions to meet productivity standards. Perform other departmental duties as directed by the department head. Comply with the company health and safety policies. Ensure aircraft component rectifications are completed timely, adhering to QCAA/EASA PART-145 requirements and quality standards. Complete tasks within procedural and time constraints. Job Posting Details Posted on Jul 1, 2025, 6: 13: 04 PM Qualifications: High School/Vocational Qualification/Diploma with at least 3 years of related experience OR Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of related experience. Essential Skills: Aircraft maintenance experience (including apprenticeship). Knowledge of workshop fundamentals and related skills. Ability to perform tasks independently within specialty. Understanding of work procedures and equipment operation. English communication skills. Problem-solving skills. Ability to control operation of equipment or systems. Ability to interpret written instructions. Preferred Skills: Basic ICAO Type II License. Trade-related certificates and reinforcement training. At least 1-year practical experience in a similar technical field. Recognized aeronautical/technical training certificates. Experience handling pressure and working as part of a team.
