Aircraft Mechanic (Workshops) Wheels and Brakes Tue, 08/06/2024 - 22: 55 Company: Category: Maintenance Job Type: Permanent City: Country: International About the role: We are recruiting for Aircraft Mechanic within Workshops having Aircraft Wheels and Brakes experience to be based in Doha, Qatar. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible to perform all required work in accordance with approved technical data, Qatar Airways standards and procedures; meeting the highest shop practices and safety to provide operational results as set by the unit. You will also be responsible for the completion of any assigned tasks within frame work of procedures and set timeframes by performing effectively within an environment of time constrains and a high level of technical competency. Specific responsibilities for the role include: Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks to provide satisfactory service to customers. Operate equipment or tooling relating to work area to meet time frame objectives for tasks. Interpret information over a range of normal activities to maintain satisfactory continuous operation. Accountable to comply with the company health and safety policy. Ensure aircraft component rectifications are accomplished in a timely manner, to the defined QCAA/EASA PART-145 requirements and in accordance with the desired quality standards. Qualifications About you The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Trade or vocational aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering with minimum 5 years Aircraft Maintenance experience in Wheels Brakes (including apprenticeship). Knowledge of workshop fundamentals and related skills. Knowledge of work procedures to operate equipment to maintain satisfactory operation determining the kinds of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Ability to perform most tasks and duties independently typical to area of specialty. Controlling operation of equipment or systems. Understanding written instructions in work related documents.
