Coordinate between various departments and stakeholders to deliver a detailed 1-Year Operational Plan. Facilitate optimization of the plan to eliminate conflicts and leverage available opportunities. Conduct gap analysis against the validated Annual Work Program and Budget (AWPB) in each cycle to assess planning changes and support senior management decision-making. Provide the Chief Operating Officer (COO) with necessary information and support during arbitration of 1-Year Operational Plan (IOP) activities. Maintain regular communication with the Finance team to align the IOP with forecast cycles and deliver necessary inputs. Coordinate with the Forecast team to align the IOP with Rolling Forecasts (Ro Fo), shortfall contracts, and optimize production / injection planning. Engage with the Export team on lifting schedules to ensure contractual compliance. Collaborate with the Head of IOP to continuously enhance the planning process. Key Activities IOP Process Management – Annual Operational Plan Lead the development, review, and issuance of a complete, validated annual operational plan. Conduct gap analyses with the validated AWPB to measure the impact of planning changes. Initiate conflict resolution discussions using raw data and cross-functional collaboration. Collect Level 1 and Level 2 activities from department planners and execution teams for consolidation into the annual plan. Verify that all activities meet predefined gate criteria; reject and coordinate revisions as needed. Ensure accuracy and completeness of activity attributes through consistent engagement with planning teams. Identify conflicts and optimization opportunities in safety, production, cost, and resource allocation. Collaborate with department focal points, the Forecast team, and the HSE team for accurate forecasting. Coordinate with Logistics on optimizing accommodation vessels, maintenance schedules, and JUB movements. Provide Finance and Logistics with the validated 1-Year POB (Personnel On Board) forecast. Share conflict lists ahead of de-confliction meetings. Distribute the draft IOP plan to the Forecast team two days prior to de-confliction to enable scenario development. Lead the annual de-confliction meeting, engaging all departments to finalize an optimized plan. Organize and trigger pre-arbitration meetings when necessary. Prepare planning scenarios and assist the COO during activity arbitration. Facilitate the final validation meeting chaired by the COO with all key stakeholders. Publish a rolling 1-Year IOP plan on a monthly basis. Provide validated plan feedback to departmental planners for alignment and updates. Participate in Execution de-confliction and validation meetings. Prepare arbitration dossiers related to unplanned (break-in) activities and support COO as required. Coordinate with Finance to compare break-ins against the approved internal budget. Work with Execution Planners to extract 1-Year IOP activities into a 4-Month Lookahead. Develop clear, visual representations of plans to enhance understanding and support senior decision-making. Continuous Improvement of IOP Process Assist the Head of IOP in procedure development, implementation, and revision. Collect and report feedback on process pain points for continuous improvement. Participate in refining and updating IOP procedures. Reporting Responsibilities Design and maintain tools for tracking progress and performance in alignment with the Annual Work Program and internal budgeting. Collaborate with Operations Planning to produce KPI dashboards and monthly reports. Support preparation and submission of 1-Year IOP KPI reports for internal stakeholders. Requirements Qualifications & Experience : Education : Degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Business Administration preferred. Experience : Minimum 10 years in a production operations setting, preferably with offshore exposure. At least 7 years in planning roles. Strong expertise in integrated planning systems and methodologies. Proactive in identifying information needs and communicating issues. Culturally adaptable; effective in diverse, cross-functional environments. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Proficiency with planning tools such as MS Project and Primavera P6.
