SR. MECHANICAL ENGINEER (POWER GENERATION)Primary Purpose Of The Job Contribute to Qatar Energy’s strategic goals by maximizing the uptime of solar power generation plants. Responsibilities Performance Analysis: Review and analyze the performance of plant facilities to ensure efficient and continuous service. Opportunity Identification: Identify opportunities to improve plant performance. Improvement Monitoring: Monitor the execution of improvement plans. Support Role: Assist the Assistant Manager as the Asset focal point. Engagement: Support the Assistant Manager in engaging with Qatar Energy senior management and JV board members. Required Experience And Skills Experience: Minimum of 10 years of broad-based relevant industrial experience. Specialization: At least 5 years in a Solar Power Mechanical operational environment, preferably in plant management. Exposure: Direct exposure to commercial and business development activities. Financial Acumen: Good understanding of discounted cash flow valuation methods and metrics such as NPV, IRR, and financial metrics like ROCE. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
