Description
Position Title: Sr. Project Engineer (Process) Location: Offshore (O&G Projects), Qatar Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology. Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in Offshore Oil & Gas projects. Strong knowledge in: Process simulations and equipment sizing Development and review of PFDs/PEFS Steady-state and transient flow analysis Control Narratives and Cause & Effect diagrams Proven experience in: Preparing technical process reports and documentation Conducting and closing out process risk assessments Operational troubleshooting and process performance optimisation Supporting construction and commissioning strategies Demonstrated leadership and coordination of process engineering teams. Familiarity with business processes and regulatory frameworks in the energy sector. Skilled in analyzing operational problems and implementing process improvements. Competent in using performance metrics and KPIs to manage engineering workflows. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage process engineering activities across all phases of asset development, from concept through FEED to EPC. Provide technical support to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of existing offshore assets. Support operational troubleshooting and drive process improvements for plant operations. Oversee and review contractor deliverables for technical compliance and alignment with company standards. Ensure process technical integrity is maintained in all modifications and projects. Provide critical input for major capital projects and collaborate with multi-discipline project teams. Coordinate risk management processes, including HAZOPs and risk close-out documentation. Deliver high-quality process engineering documentation, reports, and technical support as required.
