Job Title: SIMOPS PTW Documentation Coordinator Location: Qatar – Onshore (Ras Laffan / Doha HQ) Contract Type: Initial 3-Year Contract (with potential extension) Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 8–10 hours/day Rotation: Single Status: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFFCouple Status: 30 Days Annual Leave Start Date: ASAP Visa Requirements: Only candidates eligible for work visa (RP) in Qatar will be considered Project Assignment: Major oil and gas expansion project (brownfield & greenfield) Overview We are hiring an experienced PTW Documentation Coordinatorto manage and coordinate Permit to Work (PTW) documentation for a large-scale operational expansion project. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and effective planning and execution of PTW across high-risk SIMOPS environments. You’ll act as a key liaison between Operations, Planning, HSE and Contractors—supporting all phases of shutdown and start-up activity documentation. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage all PTW documentation and processes across onshore operations Interface with operations, performing parties, and shutdown teams to align permit plans Review and support risk screening and assessments during planning and execution stages Ensure compliance with PTW procedures and safety regulations Track overdue or expired permits, support audits, and lead continuous improvement efforts Provide PTW input to shutdown and start-up planning reviews Generate PTW-related reports, statistics, and non-compliance tracking Conduct spot checks and routine audits, report deviations, and follow up Participate in incident and near-miss investigations as assigned Requirements Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering Minimum 8 years’ experience in oil and gas operations (preferably brownfield), with strong PTW coordination exposure Familiarity with SIMOPS, start-up and shutdown procedures Excellent understanding of PTW systems, audits, and permit governance Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Comfortable working in a multinational, multi-discipline environment Able to work onsite full-time in Qatar under single or couple status#J-18808-Ljbffr
