Date Posted: 2025-03-27 Country: Qatar Location: QAT01: Office No. 3 & 4, 4th Floor, Al Manara Building, B Ring Road Doha Al Jadeeda, PO Box 23500, Doha – Qatar Job Purpose The role holder is responsible for supporting the new equipment sales operations for Otis, including supporting efforts towards new equipment portfolio growth by contract wins, preparing pre-qualification and technical documents and coordinating with Finance Department for invoicing. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures. Core Responsibilities: Provides management information and insights on all dimensions of work area performance to facilitate discussion and decision making, both on a periodic basis and for ad-hoc management requests. Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Works under the guidance of the Manager – New Equipment to prepare the contracts, negotiate and finalize agreements with clients, based on established guidelines. Prepares pre-qualification and technical documents to support the new equipment proposals within Otis. Prepares estimates and issues quotations based on project scope and Otis products pitched to the client. Supports in the implementation of sales strategies to increase the market share of Otis across all product lines within the assigned markets. Builds a relationship with clients by regularly engaging with key contacts and understanding their needs. Coordinates with the Aftermarket and Service Department to ensure that the terms and conditions of all new equipment agreements are implemented. Gathers competitive intelligence on the products being offered in the market to help position Otis as the preferred provider on all new equipment proposals. Coordinates with the Finance Department with respect to invoice requirements for maintenance contracts and other chargeable works. Assists the Finance Department with the timely collection of payments based on contracting agreements. Prepares sales reports, pipeline forecasts as requested by the management. Updates the maintenance contracts database in the MIS system and provides periodic reports from this and other relevant sources to show the latest status of all contract activity. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Sales or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in sales operations in a construction/engineering organization.
