Field E&I Technician (HVAC) (OESS)Job Details Job Purpose Conduct and support maintenance, modification, and related works of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, including preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation, and start-up tasks to ensure maximum operational efficiency of Company Assets.Reporting and Relationships Reports to Senior Electrical Supervisor (OESS).Direct reports: None.Internal Regular contact with OES Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering departments.External Periodic contact with contractors and third-party suppliers.Job Context & Major Challenge(s) The role provides support to Qatar Energy LNG facilities HVAC maintenance activities by adhering to the highest quality and safety standards as per Company policies and codes. This involves working with project EPCI contractors and PMT offshore, and potentially participating in construction activities at contractor yard facilities.Safety, Health & Environment Ensure all activities comply with Company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality policies, regulations, and standards.Key Job Accountabilities Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation, and start-up of new equipment and facilities.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on field HVAC equipment as directed, following safe work practices.Ensure availability and good condition of materials and spare parts before maintenance activities.Follow applicable maintenance procedures and maintain proper controls to ensure a safe workplace.Execute work activities efficiently as per schedule plan.Provide accurate records and close-out reports of completed work, as guided by supervisor.Participate in troubleshooting HVAC issues and report findings promptly.Review relevant diagrams, drawings, datasheets, and documents related to HVAC systems.Participate in regular toolbox meetings and report all near misses, incidents, and accidents per company procedures.Qualifications Secondary School education followed by vocational training (TAFE).Knowledge and Experience At least 5 years’ experience as a technician in the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry.Technical and Business Skills Extensive experience in operation, maintenance, and condition monitoring of HVAC equipment.Good written and oral communication skills in English.Ability to adapt to a multinational environment with exposure to various cultures.Proficient in MS Office software.Note: The job posting appears active based on the provided description.#J-18808-Ljbffr
