EDS Specialist

EDS Specialist Secondment 1-year extendable contract Office work 5 days on / 2 days off / 8-10 hours per day Urgent position Key Responsibilities: Smart 3D setup and customization activities. Create and maintain the project Plant structure. Load and maintain the engineering specification (All discipline) database and libraries. Schedule and validate all SP3D database back-ups & review files for the project. Administrate the Smart 3D Network System security. Pipe Support customization/development. Clash management. Drawing Template Creation and Customization for all Discipline Deliverables. SP3D Reference Data Catalogue(s) Creation and Maintenance. Interface with related software such as Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI), Smart Plant P&ID (SPPID), Smart Plant Electrical (SPEL), Smart Plant Foundation (SPF), Smart Plant Materials (SPM), Micro Station, and Laser Scan Cloud Point. Maintain design systems to ensure they are always fully operational. Support and configure all Smart 3D and CAD software, including Architectural, Civil, Piping, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Equipment. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil, or relevant discipline). Software Proficiency: Expertise in Smart 3D (S3D), Navisworks, VB (.NET) programming, and Aveva E3. Experience: Minimum 12-15 years in Smart 3D administration, customization, and user support. Industry Knowledge: Experience in oil & gas, construction, or engineering projects. Technical Skills: Knowledge of SPP&ID, SPF, and database management (Oracle, SQL Server).#J-18808-Ljbffr
