Qatar R1479501 ## Job Description Role Purpose: The role is part of a dedicated team of finance and patient activity experts supporting Consultants and Senior Consultants in designing, configuring, and supporting Patient Level Information Costing System (PLICS) and health pathway analytical software solutions using the company's own web-based applications along with third-party proprietary Business Intelligence tools. An ability to work to tight deadlines within a cross-functional team to achieve project delivery success is required, together with strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should be able to show an understanding of the healthcare business relevance in the analyses as well as their correct and effective execution. Principle Accountabilities: Support the Senior Consultant in the design, development, and delivery of PLICS and Pathways Analytics consulting projects or as components of larger, complex projects. Participate in the active development of software products. Assist the Consultant/Senior Consultant in reviewing and analyzing client requirements or problems and developing approaches and system configurations to provide cost-effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction. Support the Consultant/Senior Consultant in conducting financial and costing consultancy in the healthcare sector. Have thorough knowledge of the patient activity data flow process within a hospital. Perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in identifying client issues and developing client-specific solutions. Support the Senior Consultant in recommending improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems. Identify new business opportunities and follow-on work at assigned clients. Provide follow-up with clients after project completion to ensure satisfaction. Possess a good understanding of financial and management accounting. Understand International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Understand how costing fits into the payer-provider portfolio. Develop or have a good understanding of SQL. Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required: Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accountancy with 1–3 years of finance experience. Preferred: Costing experience is preferred; professional qualifications like CMA, ACA, ACCA, and CIMA will be given preference.
