IT Security Specialist

Job Description – Information Security Specialist Job Purpose Supports the Head of IT MP in enhancing and improving cybersecurity levels during Compression projects, as well as determining cybersecurity requirements and standards to be followed in alignment with OPCO processes and baselines.Key Job Accountabilities Provides authoritative advice and guidance on security requirements to manage identified risks, ensuring adoption and adherence to standards. This includes advice on the application and operation of all types of security controls, including legislative or regulatory requirements such as data protection / GDPR and software copyright law.Aligns with the requirements of the Security Architecture role for various IT and OT projects, including but not limited to security requirements and blueprints for all assets and services. Also, provides technical and tactical guidance based on the nature of the solution or project.Develops and integrates cybersecurity design for all systems and services with multilevel security requirements, processing multiple classifications of data in both IT and OT environments.Documents and addresses the organization’s information and cybersecurity architecture requirements throughout the project lifecycle, in alignment with enterprise and security architecture processes.Identifies and prioritizes critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders to ensure security requirements are followed.Performs security reviews, identifies gaps in MP Solutions portfolio, and develops security risk management plans in collaboration with other IRM teams.Defines and documents how the implementation of new systems and services interfaces can impact the security posture of the current environment and proposes mitigation plans or alternative architectures in both IT and OT environments.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or engineering. Holds relevant professional certifications in information security management and standards (e.g., CISSP, CISA, GIAC, ISO27001, etc.).15+ years of experience in an information security role, providing the required knowledge for this position.Both IT and OT-related engineering experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector.Familiar with relevant national and international information security standards.Expertise in designing secure networks, systems, and architecture.Skillset Required: Information Technology, Supporting Others, Service Orientation, Blueprints, Information Security, Visio, Business Skills, Accountability, Interpersonal Skills, Compliance, Problem-solving Skills, Leadership, Security Management, Planning and Organizing, Supervising, Cybersecurity, Design Principles, Trends, Interpersonal Skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
