Bachelor of Business Administration(Management) Nationality Any Nationality Vacancy 1 Vacancy Job Description Job Purpose: The Enterprise Infrastructure Architect is responsible for leading the design, development, and evolution of IT infrastructure architecture across both development and production environments. The role involves re-engineering and optimizing existing infrastructure, introducing modern technologies and design standards, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions aligned with business strategy and digital transformation goals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Architecture & Planning: Develop and implement infrastructure architecture strategies that align with organizational objectives and enterprise IT vision.Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption that enhance infrastructure efficiency, scalability, and security.Lead infrastructure re-engineering initiatives to modernize platforms and improve performance and resilience.Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements.Act as a trusted advisor to infrastructure teams, application teams, and project stakeholders on best practices and architectural standards.Foster effective relationships across departments, support units, and technology vendors to ensure alignment and delivery.Infrastructure Design & Governance: Design modern, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions covering compute, storage, networking, and hybrid environments.Define and enforce enterprise architecture principles, standards, and best practices, including adherence to ITIL and other frameworks.Lead infrastructure architecture reviews and ensure alignment with internal risk, audit, and compliance requirements.Cloud Architecture & Adoption: Define and lead cloud adoption strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise security and business continuity frameworks.Evaluate cloud providers, applications, and services, providing guidance on selection, integration, and security.Manage hybrid infrastructure and ensure smooth integration between on-premises and cloud-based systems.Drive cloud migration planning, application rehosting, and re-platforming strategies.Security, Compliance & Risk: Work closely with information security teams to design infrastructure aligned with cybersecurity frameworks and privacy requirements.Ensure infrastructure architecture supports regulatory compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery standards.Conduct risk assessments and architecture audits, and implement corrective actions to address vulnerabilities or misalignments.Operational Excellence: Document architectural decisions, infrastructure standards, and system designs in line with documentation governance.Provide oversight for infrastructure changes and capacity planning.Lead initiatives to automate and streamline infrastructure deployment and management processes.Leadership & Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and standards to inform architecture strategy and innovation.Contribute to knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and capability development within the architecture team and broader IT organization.Participate in reviews, workshops, and governance forums to align infrastructure plans with enterprise architecture and digital transformation goals.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years in architecture, preferably within highly regulated industries.Deep expertise in infrastructure architecture, cloud services (Iaa S, Paa S, Saa S), virtualization, networking, and storage solutions.Certifications preferred: TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, ITIL, or equivalent.Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.Expert-level understanding of infrastructure technologies, design methodologies, and cloud platforms.Proven ability to develop architectural frameworks and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.Proficient in IT governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Analytical and problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making abilities.Company Industry IT - Software Services Department / Functional Area Administration Keywords Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
