Document Cell Lead
Description
The Document Cell Senior Lead reports to the Forward Maintenance Manager and is the point of contact for technical documentation/information. To provide leadership and oversight for the development and delivery of all Continuing Airworthiness Records activities, whilst maximising operational efficiency and minimizing costs. Through effective utilisation of subject matter knowledge and experience, able to lead and manage a team of skilled personnel to deliver fit-for-purpose Continuing Airworthiness Records. Core Activity: Managing the development, production, and publication of performance indicators for aircraft and component Continuing Airworthiness Records. Managing the development and update of all Continuing Airworthiness Records, including input of aircraft technical log data. Managing reconciliation activities to ensure the configuration, quality, and integrity of records are maintained. Managing provision of information from Continuing Airworthiness Records and interfacing with Maintenance, Fleet Planning, Reliability Programmes, and other stakeholders. Reporting on the effectiveness of records completion and management processes, including feedback and escalation of issues. Providing advice on modification/configuration status-related questions. Maintaining a personal Log Book for currency and recency, and undertaking assessments and approvals as appropriate. Key Accountabilities: Performance indicators: Managing activities by setting targets, monitoring, and improving performance, representing the team in reviews, and resolving escalated issues. Completion of activities: Ensuring all activities are documented, performed by qualified personnel, and integrated within the business. Procedure/standards: Managing compliance with CAME and other procedures, proposing changes as needed. Safety Management System: Promoting human factors, error management, risk management, and safety assurance. Management System Assurance: Ensuring compliance with governance frameworks, supporting audits, and implementing improvements. Statutory/Regulatory & Legislative requirements: Demonstrating understanding and application of regulatory frameworks like EASA, and ensuring compliance with other requirements. Contractual Requirements: Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and supporting reviews. Requirements: Minimum HNC in a relevant discipline or Part 66 Category C qualification, or equivalent. Recent experience in maintenance/support environment managing Continuing Airworthiness Records or related disciplines. Strong analytical, project management, and leadership skills. Effective communicator with interpersonal skills. Broad product knowledge and understanding of interfacing areas. Ability to analyze and interpret data. Understanding of IT software used in Continuing Airworthiness Records. Knowledge of project management techniques. Understanding of financial, commercial, and procurement processes. Relevant safety and awareness courses. IT literate and hold a UK driving license.#J-18808-Ljbffr
