SR. QA/QC ENGINEER

SR. QA/QC ENGINEER Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in CIVIL/MECHANICAL Engineering, as applicable, from an internationally recognized university.Post-graduation in multi-discipline engineering is preferable.Membership of a recognized professional institution of relevance is preferable.Experience: Minimum overall 15 years of QA/QC relevant experience on major Infrastructure & Civil and/or Oil & Gas Projects, with at least 5 years in a senior position.Experience in coordination during Concept Studies, FEED, and EPIC phases; GCC experience is desirable.Five years’ experience related to construction activities and two years in management of quality systems per international standards.Qualified as Internal/Lead ISO 9001 Auditor; professional qualifications in quality are desirable.Knowledge of international codes, standards, and development of quality management systems.Experience with manufacturing inspection, certification processes, and discipline-specific expertise (piping, pipelines, electrical, instrumentation).Proficient in English (written and spoken).Leadership skills for motivating and organizing project and contractor QA/QC teams.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the development and enforcement of QMS & Project QMS requirements.Manage the Project QA/QC team and ensure compliance with quality objectives.Oversee audits, corrective actions, and certification processes.Coordinate with contractors and project teams to ensure QA/QC compliance throughout the project lifecycle.Review and endorse project quality plans, scope of work, and technical deliverables.Participate in bid evaluations, contractor qualification, and performance assessments.Manage non-conformance and deviation processes, and prepare quality reports.Support project close-out activities, warranty claims, and KPI development.Ensure safety and environmental standards are upheld.Construction and Inspection Activities: Implement inspection procedures and ensure documentation meets requirements.Review quality documentation from contractors and suppliers.Coordinate inspections and non-conformance resolutions.Conduct quality audits and ensure calibration of testing equipment.Decision-Making Authority: Operate within established policies, procedures, and standards.Responsible for technical quality and inspection during procurement and construction.Context / Challenges: Frequent extended hours and outdoor work conditions.Managing multi-disciplinary teams in a multicultural environment.Site visits to onshore/offshore facilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
