Senior Consultant - CSM Onsite Support

1 month ago Be among the first 25 applicants The Senior Consultant is an expert in his/her field who is responsible and empowered to provide solutions to some of the most complex issues faced by the company’s customers and internal stakeholders. High priority incidents will be assigned to the Senior Consultant due to time-based or criticality-based escalations. The engineer will need to have the capacity to work under pressure as well as under strict time constraints so as to respect the company’s SLAs and minimize the impact to the customers Accountabilities: Provides high-level technical expertise in resolving customer incidents in a timely manner, with the focus of reducing the impact. Provides final-fix resolutions to problems as a key stakeholder in the Problem Management process. Skilled in writing technical documents and enlarge the knowledge database. Escalates specific problems to the responsible Business Units for product enhancement, as and when needed. Demonstrates an aptitude and appetite for learning new technologies, evidenced by the ability to expand upon core knowledge. Analyses and troubleshoots the complex issues related to CSM components according to specifications. Addresses product related issues with manufacturer TAC/support staff. Recommends upgrades and/or system improvements on maintained system as required. Maintains certifications and knowledge of technology developments in his area of expertise; Supports the Implementation Team as a Project Engineer (if directed), providing basic engineering support and detailed knowledge in his/her area of expertise. Assists in the development of written procedures related to the position. Performs other tasks related as delegated by direct manager or superior. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in years of progressive experience in Service Provider environments. Minimum of eight years of Level 3/TAC level of support experience with debugging, diagnosing and troubleshooting skillsets of the domains listed Level 3 experience with NOC Monitoring tools Such as OBM, NNMi, APM, Site Scope, Solar Winds, Zabbix Application Maintenance of Microfocus Applications (Ops Bridge, NNMi, Network Automation, OPTIC Reporting Etc). Level 3 Experience in OBM/OMi, NNMi, i SPIs, OPTIC, OBR, APM, Site Scope, Network Automation, Service Manager, BVD, UCMDB, BPM &RUM Databases Experience in MS SQL, Oracle, Sybase IQ, Postgres, Vertica Well-versed with networking tools such as traffic generators, analysers, etc. Application Fine Tuning and Enhancement (Especially NNMi, Ops Bridge & OBR, NPS, BVD, Site scope, Airwave etc) Experience of managing technical resources onsite and coordination between customer and the delivery team. Proven communication skills with multiple levels of an organization, including interaction with internal/external senior level business stakeholders. High level of IT literacy.
