SR. PROJECT FINANCE SPECIALIST

Primary Purpose of the Job Develop and manage funding programmes and financing structures for all Qatar Energy-related new projects, securing limited/non-recourse long-term financings from the international financial market on optimal terms, aligned with Corporate and State of Qatar policies for Qatar Energy, its subsidiaries, and joint ventures. Collaborate closely with the Commercial Directorate to complete financial and tax due diligence for all new projects, and to plan and schedule funding/financing structures and programmes, ensuring risks and liabilities are properly addressed in project agreements. Required Experience and Skills Minimum 12 years of experience in a Project Finance environment, including at least 5 years of direct experience in Project Financing. Educational Qualifications A degree in a relevant discipline (Finance, Accounting); postgraduate degree/MBA or professional qualifications (CA, FCCA, ICMA) are highly desirable. The candidate must be the primary representative of Qatar Energy in financing meetings, demonstrating high credibility and expertise in technical, financial, legal, and contractual disciplines, with strong negotiation, interpersonal, supervisory, and management skills.
