Seenior Lighting Designer

Coordinate with electrical and structural engineers to ensure safe and practical installation of lighting systems. Manage lighting control systems to support dynamic effects, animations, and brand storytelling elements. Lead the design and development of lighting concepts for architectural, landscape, façade, commercial, and hospitality projects. Translate design briefs into creative, functional, and technically sound lighting solutions that align with client and project goals. Prepare lighting layouts, specifications, calculations, and detailed drawings using tools like DIALux, Auto CAD, Revit, and AGi32. Conduct photometric analysis, energy efficiency reviews, and lighting simulations. Oversee technical submittals, procurement reviews, and coordination with suppliers, contractors, and engineering teams. Attend client presentations, coordination meetings, site inspections, and commissioning phases. Ensure compliance with GCC local codes, LEED standards, and international lighting guidelines. Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, interior designers, and project managers to ensure cohesive project delivery. Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of lighting design experience, with at least 5 years in the GCC region. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of lighting projects (commercial, hospitality, retail, urban, etc.). Proficiency in lighting design software (DIALux, AGi32, Relux), Auto CAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. Deep knowledge of lighting technologies, control systems, and sustainable lighting strategies. Strong understanding of local building codes, authority approvals, and regional project workflows. Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interface with high-profile clients and stakeholders.#J-18808-Ljbffr
