(SENIOR) PROJECT ENGINEERS Responsible for management, monitoring, and supervising assigned projects in a specific area, ensuring completion to quality, budget, and schedule. Manages the day-to-day operational and contract aspects of multiple projects. Provides feedback regarding project progress, deviations, and changes, ensuring projects are delivered to Ashghal Standards. Handles site handover (possession of site), pre-contract meetings (kickoff), and RO’s and approvals, officially transferring responsibilities to the contractor. Reviews and approves project control systems that measure progress/performance, providing early warnings of deviations and identifying corrective actions. Monitors traffic diversions (in liaison with traffic unit) to ensure effectiveness and safety. Note: FINAL INTERVIEW WILL BE IN SPAIN AND/OR PORTUGAL. MANDATORY: ARABIC AND ENGLISH SPEAKERS, 12 YEARS ROADS ENGINEER EXPERIENCE. Mandatory requirements: University degree in civil engineering or related field from a recognized university. Proficient in English and Arabic, both written and spoken. Desirable requirements: Chartered engineer status or working towards it, or registration as a professional project manager. Minimum of 12 years experience in design, construction, and procurement of major road projects. Experience in administering consultant and contractor contracts related to major road projects. Management experience of a team of professional staff. Experience working with government agencies or clients at a senior level (desirable). Experience in Qatar is a plus. Strong communication and leadership skills.
