Our client, a major LNG Operator in Qatar, is hiring for an Operations Advisor to work on a major Onshore/Offshore project (Brownfield & Greenfield scope). This is a contract and residential role based in Qatar with an initial contract duration of 3 years (renewable). Job Purpose Provide operations expertise and advice to support the North Field Production & Sustainability (NFPS) Compression Projects, ensuring operational considerations, practicalities & requirements are captured in project deliverables to meet Operations expectations in terms of Safety, Operability, Reliability, and Maintainability over the facility design life cycle. Provide leadership and interface with OES in leading the resolution of issues across the whole spectrum of technical, operational, commercial, and interface/relationships that arise in the project during EPC Tender Evaluation, EPC Execution Phase, Commissioning, start-up, and until handover of the facilities. Key Job Accountabilities Reports to Project Manager Shared Resources (NFPS Compression). Provide expert advice and guidance on operational requirements of asset facilities to ensure planned project activities do not adversely affect production key performance targets and the asset achieves safe, reliable, and environmentally sound operations. Lead operational reviews, identifying issues and working collaboratively to develop solutions ensuring the operational requirements of the project are delivered in line with agreed plans. Provide inputs to the respective COMPs PMT for all “operations” related issues (Project Philosophies, PIDs, C&E charts, ESD logic diagrams, Spare parts, First fill, Operator Training System, Pipeline Management System, Emergency Pipeline Repair Strategy, Hand-Over process and philosophies, SDMS Gate deliverables, and Project Gate documents). Advise on technical process related issues and provide the highest level of operations expertise to ensure ongoing safe and reliable operations. Participate in facilitating lessons learned into the project design, identify areas for improvement, and assist in providing and implementing best practices where applicable. Coordinate and participate in risk screening and risk assessment meetings to implement risk mitigation activities where necessary and ensure the effectiveness of those mitigations is sustained. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge and/or Experience15 years of varied operational experience in the oil and gas industry, with exposure to onshore and offshore facilities, including 3 years in an Operations Advisor or similar role in various project development activities, i.e., EPC, commissioning, and start-up.#J-18808-Ljbffr
