Planning Engineer – Joinery

We are currently looking for a highly qualified and experienced Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in the carpentry, joinery, and fit-out manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project planning, scheduling, and resource management, with a proven track record in similar industries. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Develop detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera P6. Liaise with project managers to gather and analyze scope of work, resource requirements, and timelines. Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and client requirements. Optimize resource allocation and improve workflow efficiency within the manufacturing process. Prepare regular reports on project status, resource utilization, and production output. Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in all planning activities. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in a carpentry, joinery, fit-out manufacturing environment. Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, ERP systems). Strong knowledge of woodworking manufacturing processes and materials.
