Principal UI/UX Designer
Description
The Principal UI/UX Designer leads the design of user interfaces and experiences for AI products. This role involves creating intuitive and engaging designs that enhance user satisfaction and drive product adoption. The Principal UI/UX Designer ensures that all AI products meet high standards of usability and accessibility. Responsibilities and Duties Lead the design and development of user interfaces and experiences for AI products. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that meet user needs and business objectives. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define design requirements and ensure alignment with product goals. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs. Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all AI products. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in UI/UX design and apply them to enhance the user experience. Mentor and provide guidance to junior UI/UX designers and other team members. Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices in all design activities. Prepare and present design proposals and reports to senior management and stakeholders. Participate in project planning and contribute to the development of project timelines and deliverables. Perform other duties relevant to the job as assigned by the Head of AI Products & Development or senior management. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Usability Analyst (CUA), UX Certification) are preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in UI/UX design or related fields. Experience in designing interfaces for AI or technology-focused products. Strong proficiency in UI/UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and creativity in design. In-depth understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices. Familiarity with user research and usability testing methodologies. Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Prototyping tools (e.g., In Vision, Axure). User research and testing tools (e.g., User Testing, Optimal Workshop). Collaboration and communication tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams).#J-18808-Ljbffr
