Description
Overview The Surgical Nurse reflects the mission, vision, and values of the organization, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. He/she is a registered professional clinical nurse (RN) responsible for providing and coordinating evidence-based, clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients, including diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Surgical Nurse adheres to the QCHP/AMNM Scope of Practice and Standards of Professional Nursing, as well as the Code of Ethics. As a member of the clinical care team, the Surgical Nurse participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient care plan, achieve optimal outcomes, and enhance unit operations. The Surgical Nurse exemplifies the core qualities of an AMNM nurse.Skills required: - Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, management, staff, and other stakeholders. - Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to exercise judgment, independent thinking, and creativity in resolving issues. - Proficiency in using computers and relevant software applications; experience with electronic health records (EHR) is preferred.Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (4 years) OR - Diploma in Nursing (3 years post-high school graduation) OR - Associate Degree in Nursing, with licensure as a Registered General Nurse in the country of origin or country of graduation. - Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not essential. - Preferred: Experience in a Surgical Unit or specific clinical area.Requirements: - CV (including a photo, date of birth, in Word format) - Passport copy - All educational and employment certificates - Valid primary license from the country of origin, with eligibility for licensure in Qatar through QCHP - Data Flow verification - Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPRBenefits: - Annual economy class flight tickets for self - Shared accommodation - Private medical insurance - 30 calendar days of annual leave#J-18808-Ljbffr
