Structural Fabricator

Client of IPAMS Industrial Personnel and Management Services Qualifications: Total minimum 6 years experience in structural fabrication and erection with well-known company in ship repair, marine or oil & gas field.Heavy industry steel fabrication and basic piping fabrication experience.Shipyard or ship repair experience will be preferred.Experience in ship conversion, block fabrication and erection, and steel renewal work.Experience in oil and gas structural fabrication such as Jacket, module, skid, and pipe rack.Experience in offshore fabrication and erection.Task Description: Carry out all types of gas cutting jobs, steel fabrication works, and ship repair works.Read drawings, sketches, and prepare steel plates with accurate measurement.Work independently under the instruction of steel section foreman, charge-hand, and group leaders. Fabrication involves cropping, preparation, fabrication, and tack welding.Ensure all works are carried out safely and in compliance with quality assurance procedures and manuals.Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines according to drawings and templates, using measuring equipment.Maintain cleanliness and safety at the workplace and worksite; treat customer premises/facilities with respect.Ensure all operations are performed safely; enforce correct PPE usage among workers.Demonstrate practical technical skills, coordination, problem-solving, and accuracy in work execution.Work at heights and in confined spaces.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.#J-18808-Ljbffr
