Description
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire kitchen operations including planning, staffing, and supervising the culinary team. Design and implement creative menus that reflect international, Indian, and healthy food options. Ensure food quality, taste, and consistency are maintained at all times. Manage kitchen budgets, including inventory control, food costing, and minimizing waste. Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene, health, and safety regulations as per local and international standards. Coordinate with restaurant management to meet customer expectations and support the overall dining experience. Monitor and evaluate the performance of kitchen staff and provide training and mentoring when needed. Handle kitchen equipment and ensure it is maintained properly for daily operations. Work closely with procurement to order fresh, high-quality ingredients in a cost-effective manner. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to high-paced environments. Job Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience as a head chef or in a senior chef role. Proven GCC experience in a high-standard restaurant or hotel. Expertise in international cuisine, Indian dishes, and healthy food preparation. Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to train and guide staff, ensuring a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment. Excellent knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food handling standards.
