Description Job Purpose Plan, optimize, and deliver project maintenance readiness deliverables (people, spares, maintenance plans, EQDB, CMMS, procedures, and work processes) to ensure safe, reliable start-up, and lifecycle maintenance of new facilities.Job Context & Major Challenges The role involves accountability for assigned project maintenance activities and deliverables, developing maintenance readiness plans, building new maintenance organizations, optimizing manpower utilization, leading high-risk maintenance activities during commissioning and start-up, and conducting maintenance investigations during trips and failures.The major challenge is delivering all maintenance deliverables such as Asset Register, Maintenance Strategy, PM Plans, Spares, Chemicals, and BOMs before handover.Qatarization Program Contribute to the development of Qatari employees. This is a condition of employment for expatriate employees.Key Job Accountabilities Lead and develop maintenance scope for projects from FEED, EPC, and commissioning to handover.Ensure process consistency and implementation in line with QGPMS.Assist in building the new asset maintenance organization and developing expertise.Plan, monitor, and deliver maintenance readiness deliverables.Develop and monitor maintenance contracts.Coordinate project reviews and provide lessons learned.Support spares optimization, project system completion, and risk mitigation.Lead maintenance during dynamic commissioning, early operations, and facilitate smooth transition to production.Support project close-out activities post-handover.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.Knowledge and Experience Minimum 10 years in maintenance within oil, gas, or petrochemical industries, including offshore/onshore LNG environments, with at least 3 years in supervisory roles.Experience in project phases including construction, commissioning, start-up, and operations.Proficiency in maintenance deliverables such as Spares, CMMS, RCM, Maintenance Strategies, and Staffing.Technical and Business Skills Strong planning and target delivery skills.Effective negotiation skills.Ability to work under stress and make decisions.Fluent in English (spoken and written).Leadership and people management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is a platform connecting jobseekers and employers.
