Offshore Methods Draftsman

Job Responsibilities: Perform 2D drafting tasks and simple 3D modeling tasks assigned by the project within schedule and with due respect to Quality requirements related to design, verification, testing, or study activities.Interface with other Draftsmen and report on a continuous basis to the Offshore Structural Project Specialist Lead, Engineers, and Designers.Verify that input information used for assigned work aligns with project development and alert Designers, Engineers, or the Structural Project Specialist Lead of any anomalies.Carry out simple 3D modeling tasks with Tekla or other similar 3D CAD tools, as requested.Develop design drawings for installation sequences, operation equipment utilization, and vessel general layout.Prepare bill of materials or material take-offs for requisitions.Ensure the quality of documents through permanent and adequate self-checks.Sign the documents produced.Inform all concerned parties of modifications resulting from the documents produced.Verify documents produced by other Draftsmen in the team when required.Update documents after comments from other disciplines or external stakeholders (Clients, Yards, Third parties review, etc.).Apply relevant provisions of the Quality Control Procedure during assigned work.#J-18808-Ljbffr
