Job Description Job Overview: The Senior Manager Hook Up & Commissioning is responsible for developing departmental plans, including business, production, and organizational priorities. The role requires multidisciplinary expertise and industry knowledge to meet financial and operational goals. The Senior Manager manages multiple teams, sets priorities, allocates resources, and resolves complex technical, operational, and organizational issues. They support projects, products, services, and technologies, and develop policies and plans to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications while maintaining quality standards Implement best practices and industry standards in hook-up and commissioning operations, seeking continuous improvement Lead all aspects of the HUC phase for projects in the EPCI industry Develop strategies and plans for smooth HUC execution Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams to align activities with project milestones Monitor and ensure compliance with schedules, budgets, quality, and safety standards during HUC Provide technical guidance on HUC matters to ensure project success Review and approve HUC procedures, methodologies, and work plans to optimize efficiency and reduce risks Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical challenges and ensure specifications are met Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for HUC processes Supervise multidisciplinary HUC teams, ensuring effective resource utilization and a positive work environment Set performance expectations, coach, and evaluate team members Identify skill gaps and provide training to enhance team capabilities Foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders to improve communication and project success Qualifications Essential Qualifications and Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field At least 10 years of progressive HUC experience in the EPCI industry, including 5 years in a managerial role Successful track record of delivering HUC projects, with knowledge of industry standards and regulations Deep understanding of HUC methodologies, procedures, and best practices Proficiency in project management, scheduling, and cost control Knowledge of technical integrity, safety, and quality requirements for HUC Experience with project planning and reporting software tools Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage conflicts, make decisions, and negotiate contracts#J-18808-Ljbffr
