Role Overview The Explosive Safety Representativeis responsible for providing on-base Explosive Safety Assurance to the Quality Manager and Head of Safety Compliance and Assurance. As an Assurance Auditor , the role holder is responsible for providing assurance against the appropriate regulatory, statutory, and business requirements (Part 145, Part M & WOME). Location and Responsibilities The post will be established in Qatar at a suitable time to establish and maintain the Explosive Safety Framework. The role will support an on-base assurance program demonstrating compliance and conformance to the Regulatory Framework. The Explosive Safety Representative responsibilities include participating in the Explosive Safety Committee, managing explosive safety issues, ensuring compliance with licensing, and supporting safety activities related to explosives and weapons. The Assurance Auditor responsibilities include ensuring compliance with QEAF Typhoon Regulations, conducting audits, reporting non-conformities, and supporting continuous improvement and regulatory adherence. Key Accountabilities Ensure compliance with WOME & DSA 03 Regulations. Document assurance activities and maintain records. Support regulatory and contractual compliance, including responding to audit findings and implementing improvements. Requirements Explosive Safety: Completion of ESAM Course, military explosive safety experience, knowledge of military explosive safety. Assurance Auditor: Recognized lead auditor qualification, regulatory knowledge, independence, analytical skills, data interpretation, and IT proficiency. Additional Information Standard courses in Human Factors, E&PW Awareness, ITAR Awareness, and IT literacy are required.
