Mechanical Engineer

We are a leading consultancy office in Qatar and are currently looking to hire Mechanical Engineerswithdesign experience in a engineering consultancy officeto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates should have a proven track record in handling multidisciplinary sustainable building designs and have the experience necessary to thrive in an engineering consultancy environment.Position : Mechanical Engineer Experience : 5 to 8 years Key Requirements : Proven experience in handling multidisciplinary sustainable building designswithin an engineering consultancy office.Strong knowledgeof preparing authorities' submission documentation and familiarity withupdated authorities' guidelines and standards .In-depth understanding of NFPAand QCDD standards .Hands-on experience withtechnology analysis softwarefor firefighting, heat load calculations, andenergy modeling .Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a consultancy setting.Experience indesign review servicesacross a wide range of projects, includingresidential, commercial, hospitality , etc.Knowledge ofdesign optimization , compliance with codes, and conductingvalue engineering assessments .Requirements Key Responsibilities : Develop and deliver innovative and sustainable mechanical design solutions for a variety of building projects.Ensure compliance with local regulations, authorities' guidelines, and industry standards.Perform heat load calculations, energy modeling, and design optimization for efficient systems.Review designs and provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and teams.Prepare documentation for authorities' approvals and submissions in line with Qatar’s updated guidelines.Collaborate with other disciplines, including electrical and plumbing engineers, to deliver integrated design solutions.Conduct value engineering to optimize designs and ensure cost-effective, high-performance solutions.Provide technical input and expertise in project meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors.Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineeringor a related field.Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Energy, Sustainability, or Building Services Engineering) is a plus.Required Skills: Mechanical design experience in a consultancy officeis a must.Proficiency in design analysis tools (e.g., HAP, IES, or other mechanical engineering software).Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and sustainable design solutions.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers and provide high-level technical expertise.#J-18808-Ljbffr
