Department ASSET INTEGRITY (REFINING) Primary purpose of job - Provide Mechanical Engineering technical support to Refinery business units including Maintenance, Operations and Inspection. - Effectively coordinate and manage the Refinery projects (mechanical) executed by Onshore Engineering. Experience & Skills - 10-15 years experience in Oil Refinery or Petrochemical Industry for Design of piping and Mechanical equipment and Project execution. - Thorough knowledge for design of Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, and Column internals Heaters, Pumps, Compressors, Spheres and Tanks related to Refinery equipment and the use of software related to the design. - Strong understanding and knowledge of international codes and standards used in Oil& Gas such as ASME, ANSI, API, TEMA, NFPA, etc./QP standards related to Engineering Industry. - Effective communication in English (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills. Capability of leading a team of Contractors for during shutdowns and project execution. Excellent motivation skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Power Point, MS Project or Primavera. - Specialized experience with Oil & Gas Industry standard Mechanical Engineering design software’s (Pressure Vessels, Piping, Tanks, Heat Exchangers and other Refinery Related Equipment) such as Code Calc, PV Elite, and CAESAR II piping stress analysis software are mandatory. - Accomplished Project Management, contract management, planning skills. - Good understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental and QA/QC requirements and the implications of non-compliance/adherence. Education - B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
