We are seeking an initiative-taking individual with excellent strategic vision, leadership skills to drive change, instill best practices, enable the team to be more proactive and best in class and inspire them to act in an innovative manner. The individual will be part of the Audit Leadership team and will oversee teams of audit professionals who undertake audit assignments that are designed to add value and improve Qatar Energy’s operations. The individual has routine contact with Qatar Energy’s senior executives and audit management from IOCs in developing the annual and medium-term risk-based audit plan and managing audit teams. The incumbent will assist Internal Audit leadership with developing new strategies for audit, focusing on emerging technologies, robotic process automation, and data analytics. Also contribute to the design and implementation of agile internal audit processes, methodology, and ongoing process improvements. Experience in internal audit management of an international oil company, operational or in-depth knowledge of oil and gas, operations, engineering and project management is necessary. A Bachelor’s degree in an accounting, financial, engineering, economics, or other relevant discipline. Valid membership of a relevant professional body. A minimum of 15 years internal auditing experience, including 5 years industry experience and at least 5 years in management role in internal audit. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required to successfully engage management in discussion on key issues and the need to drive change. **Primary purpose of job** Provide independent and objective assurance to the Board Audit Committee on the effectiveness of Qatar Energy's governance, risk management and control practices over operations and projects through a structured program of risk based internal audits. The assurance is provided by managing risk-based audits of Qatar Energy: - Operations and project management activities and business processes. - Support functions including Human Capital, Finance & Strategy, Legal, Business Support Services (HSE, Business Services, Information Technology, and Industrial Cities) and CEO’s Office. - Upstream and downstream subsidiaries, Joint Ventures and PSAs. **Experience & Skills** 1. A minimum of 15 years internal auditing experience, including 5 years industry experience and at least 5 years in internal audit management role. 2.
