Thriving on innovation and excellence,Qatar Energy is bound to the highest levels of sustainable human, socio-economic, and environmental development in Qatar and beyond. **Department** PRODUCTION **Primary purpose of job** Patrols the assigned area, monitors/controls, as directed by CCR/Area Authority, various production and utility systems (e.g. wellheads, process common facilities, process trains, vendor packages and major rotating equipment). Takes instructions from the Area Authority to control and participate in the start-up and shutdown operations of the plant and its major rotating equipment. Monitors various pressures, temperatures and levels to ensure they are within the operating limits, takes corrective action after informing the Area Authority. **Experience & Skills** **Experience**: At least 5 years experience in production and process operations, preferably in an offshore location. **Skills**: Often required to handle process work and related problems independently and to take appropriate action in emergency/alarm situations. Work is mostly routine and carried out in accordance with operating procedures and technical Takes various plant readings and stock checks on a regular basis. Completes specific area daily log as assigned. **Education** Completion of Secondary (12 years) education, followed by 2 years general mechanical and instrument training. Good knowledge of English.
