Thriving on innovation and excellence,Qatar Energy is bound to the highest levels of sustainable human, socio-economic, and environmental development in Qatar and beyond. **Department** INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY **Primary purpose of job** This challenging position calls for an experienced professional IT Project Manager to plan, implement, and manage medium to large IT projects/programmes via the identification, tendering, and procuring of system/solution for business user. The incumbent will also maintain and support the solutions after the delivery and make sure of the business continuity of this system/solution. **Experience & Skills**: - Minimum 9 years of progressive experience in a directly related field, including at least 5 years of technical support experience. - Experience in methodical investigation, analysis, review, and documentation of all or part of business in terms of business functions and processes, the information used, and data on which information is based. - Excellent problem solving, persuasion, negotiation, and strong analytical skills. - Familiarity with international standards and corporate Policies & Procedures to ensure adherence and compliance to corporate policies, procedures, and standards. - Domain knowledge of corporate functions in Energy sector. - Experienced in managing and executing multiple high value ICT projects, through procurement procedures such as RFP/RFQ development, tendering, vendor negotiations and contracts management, and deliver it on time and within budget. - Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and communicate with a multi-cultural and multi-national workforce. - Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate concepts as appropriate to customers, contractors, and staff **Education** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering/Business field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferable.
