Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Commi Chef with expertise in preparing and operating Josper Grill and Flame Grill, along with a strong background in butchery. Preferably Russian speaking **Responsibilities**: - Prepare, season, and grill various cuts of beef, ensuring the perfect texture and flavor using Josper Grill and Flame Grill equipment. - Skillfully break down and portion meat cuts, ensuring optimal use of each piece while maintaining exceptional quality and presentation. - Assist in preparing and organizing ingredients, sauces, and garnishes according to recipes and standards. - Maintain consistent quality standards for steak and other dishes, ensuring they meet or exceed guest expectations. - Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work station at all times. - Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate the timing of dishes and ensure a smooth kitchen operation. - Contribute ideas for menu development and specials, bringing creativity and innovation to the steakhouse offerings. - Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, including ordering and rotating supplies to minimize waste. **Qualifications**: - Proven experience as a Commi Chef in a high-end steakhouse or similar establishment. - Proficiency in operating Josper Grill and Flame Grill equipment. - Strong butchery skills with the ability to break down and portion meat cuts. - Knowledge of different cuts of beef and their characteristics. - Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices. - Excellent attention to detail and presentation. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. - Creativity and a passion for culinary innovation. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. **Education and Certification**: - Culinary degree or relevant culinary training preferred. - Food Handler's Certification or equivalent. - Butchery certification is a plus. - Preparing specific food items and meal components at your station. - Following directions provided by the head chef. - Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service. - Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary. - Stocktaking and ordering supplies for your station. - Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback. - Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: QAR2,800.00 per month Application Deadline: 23/04/2022
