Retail Team Leader
Description
We are hiring Retail Team Leader - Serves customers efficiently and courteously on the shop floor and/or at the cash register in order to ensure the provision of the highest standards of customer service at all points in the shopping experience - Ensures the effective communication of sales plans and targets to the team members in order to ensure the highest levels of performance and the achievement, or exceeding, of sales targets. - Assisting and motivating team members to achieve sales targets. - Maintains policies regarding payments and exchanges and security practices in order to ensure store policies are adhered to at all times. - Overseeing retail staff, shelf stockers, and other employees working on the floor and undertakes administrative tasks such as payroll and duty rosters. - Keeping records of expenditure, sales figures, checking inventory numbers, recording missing or stolen merchandise and planning special discount offers as needed. - Performance managing the staff, coaching/correcting behaviors and issuing disciplinary action as necessary in order to ensure store policies are adhered to at all times. - Approving the staff schedule and assigning on Zoho in order to ensure that the employees are effectively matched to the shop’s operational requirements that will enable the achievement of the highest standards of customer service at optimum cost. - Evaluating the supply and availability of stocks, Monitoring shelve stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store. - Investigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers. - Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards. **Education**: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent Technical Skills: - Good knowledge of technical items - Familiarity with accounting principles, inventory systems, and storekeeping methods and procedures - Experienced in administrative tasks relevant to the job role Industry Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in the same field Management Skills: - 3-5 years’ experience in a similar field at supervisory capacity - Demonstrated leadership experience building a team and leading them to achieve annual revenue goal Personal Qualities: - Effective decision maker in the absence of the Retail Manager - Takes Accountability - Motivates the team and has an engaging personality both towards employees and customers - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; effectively manage time and meet deadlines with limited supervision Technology Skills: Technical ability and knowledge of computer software and hardware with an enthusiastic approach to expanding knowledge of all toys, apparel, gaming, hardware, software and systems. Language Skills: English languages proficiency. Knowledge and practice of Arabic language is a plus.
