Inhouse Print Production Graphic Designer
Description
As a Inhouse Print Production Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating an effective print and packaging materials. You will work closely with regulatory, marketing teams, and other designers to ensure that all printed media meets the highest standards of quality and creativity. Your responsibilities will include designing, reviewing, and preparing files for printing, as well as overseeing the production process to ensure the final product aligns with the client's vision. **Key Responsibilities**: - **Design and Layout**: - Create and develop designs for various print materials most importantly packaging. - Ensure designs are visually appealing, on-brand, and meet the requester’s specifications and objectives. - Collaborate with internal departments and team members to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions. - **Pre-Press Preparation**: - Prepare and review design files for print, ensuring accuracy and adherence to print specifications. - Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot any issues with design files to prevent errors during the printing process. - Convert designs into print-ready formats, maintaining color consistency, resolution, and layout integrity. - Review proofs and samples from printers to verify quality and make necessary adjustments. **Qualifications & Key skills**: - Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure all printed materials are free from errors and meet quality standards. - Well organized and ability to review printing artwork to avoid printing error. - 2-3 years of experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio of print projects. - Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts-printing specialty, or strong self thought skills welcome as well. Strong communication skills to understand the printing requirements or amendments **Education**: - Diploma (preferred)
