Control Systems Technician

Diploma/degree in Engineering Departments especially in production and / or maintenance field. - Experience in Air separation plants or oil and gas plants. - 5+ years of proven experience as Control System or Instrument technician in a maintenance environment. - Responsible for completing the Control System maintenance activities, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of Process Control Systems (DCS, SCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), field instrumentations, communication network systems, HMI workstations. - Perform programming necessary for maintaining the Yokogawa Centum DCS, Stardom PLCs, Siemens S7 PLCS and Schneider Quantum/Modicon PLCs and Wonderware and Ifix SCADA systems, and other related softwares. - Perform DCS/SCC/PLC program backup, saving tuning parameters & HMI workstation/Field Laptop image backup and restore. - Update and install antivirus definitions, OS security patches, Software updates. - Software and hardware experience including Yokogawa Centum Vp, Prosafe-Rs, Stardom Logic designer, Fasttools. Siemens softwares and hardwares including STEP7, CFC, PCS7, Win CC. Schneider Electric Softwares and hardwares including Quantum PLC, Modicon PLC, Unity PRO. And other SCADA softwares including Wonderware, GE Ifix, etc. Knowledge about Modbus protocol is a plus. - Advance / Basic computer knowledge. Networking experience is a plus (Ethernet, TCP/IP basics) and basic cyber security aspects. - Work site: Mesaieed / Ras Laffan - Should possess valid Qatar driving license
