**About this role** This Subsea Pipeline Engineering Specialist, Scope includes - Ensure compliance with COMPANY systems and processes including the Company Project Management System (COMPANYPMS) and maintains support and adoption of all processes. Prepare plans and workschedules that ensure effective completion of projects. - Defining and optimizing pipelines system. Review FEED and Engineering deliverables and studies to support the development and/or understanding of subsea pipelines Project. Lead the development and writing of scope of work for FEED/EPC and pipeline drawings - Monitor, evaluate, report, track, and communicate the status of the project pipeline system and its requirements. - Ensure full compliance to COMPANY pipelines procedures. Lead Subsea Pipelines Discipline Engineering. Perform following pipelines design activitieso Develop Pipeline Permanent Repair Philosophy - Develop Pipeline Coating Repair Functional Specification,o Sleeper Repair philosophy and Fabricationo Installation Specificationo Quality and HSE Specification for Repair Activities - Damage Assessment of Pipelineso Flow Induced Vibration (FIV).o Finite Element Analysiso Fitness-for-Purpose Assessment - Fitness-for-Serviceo Life Extension Assessmento Localized Analysis for Wall Thickness Checko Lateral Buckling & Walking Analysis - Assessment of Pigging Frequency on Buckling / Walking-into-Buckle Behavioro Assessment of Higher Flow Rate on Buckling Behavioro Buckling check, spanning VIV and expansion calculationso Pipeline on-bottom stability analysis and bottom roughness analysis - Expansion spool stress analysiso pipelines crossing analysis and design of crossing supportso external corrosion protection designo Pipeline route selection, trenching / backfilling design - Pipeline global buckling analysiso Subsea structure analysis and designo Provide material take off and bill of material **What you need to bring**: - Minimum 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas sector with Minimum 10 years working experience with a focus on Pipelines Engineering - Experience of Pipeline Isolations for Subsea Pipeline Repair and Sleeper damage - Knowledge of DNV & ASME codes and standards for Subsea Pipelines Systems and Repair - Experience in review of Under Water Inspection report and advise mitigation plans for anomalies - Experience in use of specialized Isolation plugs for Pipeline repair - Hands-On experience in various pipeline engineering studies, analysis using specialized softwares - Significant pipelines working experience with knowledge on pipelines corrosion, failure mechanisms and corrosion controls. Experience and knowledge of risk based integrity management methods and Strong understanding of Process Safety concepts. - Experienced in the FFS relevant codes and practices - Advanced knowledge and Computer literate with knowledge of Pipelines engineering analysis tools and Software - B.Sc./BE/BTech degree in Mechanical, or Pipelines Engineering Academic Bachelor
