Edutech Specialist

**Edtech Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities** - Research and maintain awareness in advances in academic and instructional technologies. - Identify school educational technology needs, barriers and weaknesses; develop, organize and implement solutions for students, teachers, staff and administrators. - Work collaboratively with colleagues to design, develop, and deliver Educational Technology initiatives that align with the mission of the school and the needs of the classroom. - Support Educational Technology use through daily advising, collaborating, and training of teachers both in and out of the classroom. - Assist the Director of Educational Technology in administering and fully utilizing the school’s system and other digital content management systems. - Provide support for educational technology devices, systems, and content. - Evaluate the effectiveness and sustainability of current and future uses of Educational Technology in grades K-12. - In partnership with the Director of Educational Technology, research and propose new ways to enhance teaching and learning, promote innovation, and foster purposeful, meaningful, and creative integration of technology. - Function as a liaison with Division Heads and Academic Affairs Coordinators to ensure seamless coordination of technology tools supporting curriculum, instruction, and assessment. - Maintain a deep understanding of the competitors by learning about their products and use the insight to promote the company Edtech Solutions - Create and facilitate school-based, high-quality professional development, working with teachers to refine their knowledge and skills in using technology to support and enhance teaching and learning. Training may include in-class instruction, one-on-one meetings and facilitated group workshops. - Actively engage in new educational technology development activities, including conferences and workshops. - Overcome potential problems before they arise and find innovative, yet practical solutions **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: Up to QAR13,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: - Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
