Job Description**: Restaurant Team Leader OR Restaurant Supervisor** Monthly Salary: Team Leader - **QAR 2,800**; Supervisor - **QAR 3,500** - ++ Plus FREE transportation and shared accommodation_ **Job Overview**: We are seeking a dynamic and customer service oriented Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and oversee the efficient operations of our restaurant. As a supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the restaurant by supervising and coordinating the activities of the staff, maintaining high standards of service, and cultivating a positive work environment. Your leadership skills, strong organizational abilities, and excellent communication will be essential in driving the success of our establishment. **Responsibilities**: - Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional service and adhere to established guidelines and standards. - Coordinate daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand. - Provide clear direction and assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient workflow and prompt execution of duties. - Train and onboard new employees, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the menu, service standards, and restaurant policies. - Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and ongoing training to enhance their skills and professional development. - Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, share feedback, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment. - Oversee the guest experience, ensuring prompt and courteous service, addressing any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally. - Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special dietary considerations, to assist with customer inquiries and provide recommendations. - Collaborate closely with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination between the front and back of the house, including food preparation, plating, and timely delivery to customers. - Monitor inventory levels of supplies, including food, beverages, and other necessary items, and communicate with management to ensure timely replenishment. - Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards, and conducting regular inspections to maintain a clean and safe environment. - Handle cash and financial transactions accurately, including managing cash registers, handling deposits, and reconciling sales at the end of each shift. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. - Collaborate with management to develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives to improve service quality, employee morale, and overall restaurant performance. **Requirements**: - Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. - Excellent organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Proven knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house procedures. - Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and empathy. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and management. - Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly on your feet and make informed decisions under pressure. - Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry. - A commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration. - Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to ensuring compliance. - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays or other items weighing up to 25 pounds.
