Our mission is to connect businesses with the right candidates and help individuals find their dream jobs.Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deskside Support Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT equipment and systems. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Doha, Qatar.Provide onsite support and resolution that cannot be resolved by the service desk.Hardware and accessories replacement for end users.Support VIPs, acknowledging that there may be VIP staff in the client organization.Coordinate with the service desk, store manager, and spare parts inventory for device repairs requiring part replacements.Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.Manage device refresh cycles to ensure hardware updates, improving performance and security.Format and reimage devices with standardized configurations prior to deployment.Perform hardware testing and upgrades to enhance IT equipment performance and reliability.Assist in onboarding and deliver initial training on products or services to ensure user familiarity and reduce follow-up inquiries.Replace outdated or faulty PCs while adhering to secure data disposal practices.Establish secure data wiping and proper disposal processes for end-of-life devices to prevent data breaches.Manage user accounts and enforce access restrictions according to client standards.Develop and maintain standard communication templates for emails, ticketing system, and chatbot interactions.Ability to work in shifts.Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in a technical support role.Fluent in English and Arabic.Working knowledge of ITSM platforms such as SMAX or Manage Engine.Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and patient demeanor.Ability to build positive relationships with users.Strong customer service orientation, remaining calm and accommodating under pressure.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information effectively to non-technical users. #J-18808-Ljbffr
