No medical License needed.Experience : Total 10–12 years (after first qualification obtained).Must have background working in healthcare information technology, healthcare administration or clinical field (e.g. nursing, medicine or allied health).Demonstrated solid experience working in health informatics.Skills & Competency : Proficiency in health information systems (e.g EHR's), strong data analysis and trend identification capabilities, expertise in database management, and in-depth knowledge of health information technology (HIT) protocols. Ability to develop strategies to improve care quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Solid understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory compliance. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with effective conflict resolution and interpersonal communication abilities.Specification Lead, manage, and shape the strategic direction of the health information system, ensuring alignment of clinical system design and utilization with best practices and standardized frameworks. Apply an evidence-based approach to support compliance with international accreditation standards, with a strong focus on patient safety and information confidentiality.Key Duties Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the development of a comprehensive Healthcare Informatics Ecosystem that enhances internal operations and process optimization.Guide and advise teams in managing the Hospital’s business and clinical software applications, including the design, development, sourcing, and implementation of innovative solutions aligned with organizational information needs.Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of project reporting to senior management, covering status updates, cost analysis, benefits realization, risk assessment, and issue resolution.Offer technical expertise and professional advice to software and hardware vendors, as well as internal stakeholders, on IT systems development and operations.Develop and manage service contracts—whether in-house or outsourced—ensuring alignment with service outcomes, financial objectives, and performance targets.Evaluate emerging trends and best practices in health informatics, contributing to the formulation of technical strategies and application implementation plans. Support the development of strategic and tactical roadmaps for clinical information systems.Actively contribute to the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of hospital and departmental policies and procedures, particularly in alignment with project initiatives.Lead the planning, development, and performance evaluation of informatics services for hospital staff and stakeholders.Oversee and validate clinical workflows and processes, ensuring that EMR design and usage enhance clinical efficiency and effectiveness.Review the technical architecture of clinical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Champion interoperability and seamless integration across hospital systems.Direct the clinical transformation initiatives involving Patient Informatics, Patient Management Systems, Order Management, Electronic Documentation, Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS), Unified Telecommunications, and interoperability frameworks.Collaborate with Quality, Patient Experience, and Health Informatics departments to drive research, innovation, and process improvements using data-driven insights.Promote a culture of innovation and support creative problem-solving within the informatics domain. #J-18808-Ljbffr
