The university aims to develop talented graduates to contribute to Qatar’s Vision 2030.Position Summary We are seeking a passionate Academic Advising Specialist to join our Student Central Services Department. Reporting to the Head of Academic Advising, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive academic advising, supporting student success and development.Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized success plans in collaboration with Academic Learning Services.Meet regularly with advisees to monitor progress and adjust plans.Provide accurate information on programs and policies.Assist with course selection, registration, and sequencing.Connect students with campus resources for academic and personal support.Facilitate workshops and training for faculty advisors.Collaborate with staff and departments to enhance student support.Use EAB Navigate360 for record keeping and appointment management.Organize and support campus-wide advising events.Mentor peer academic advisors (PAAs).Ensure compliance with advising policies and procedures.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree and/or professional certification preferred.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in higher education.Fluency in English and Arabic.Skills: attention to detail, reliability, relationship building, teamwork, service excellence, and technical competencies in student success and process design.Additional Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Internship Job function: Education and Training Industry: Higher Education This job posting is active and accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
